Students love Escape Rooms and Easter. Combine them and it is a hit. Capture their imagination with this escape room and get the students excited for learning. A perfect way to celebrate Easter and Spring.
This Easter Escape Room can work for both individuals and groups. I typically print off the clues in color, laminate them for durability, and scatter them around the room. I place the students in groups of 2-4. The students work their way around the clues solving them and putting the answers on the students page (which I double side, as it has the story on one side and a space for the answers on the other). Mazes help fine motor control. Mazes require your students to control their pencils through the maze without hitting the black lines. This means that they must take their time rather than rushing, in order to have greater success. Progress can be observed as your students bump into the black lines less and less as they gain greater control of their writing utensils. Students use fine motor control in order to produce correct letter formation and legible handwriting.
Mazes are great for problem solving: Mazes help your students to work on their executive functioning skills, such as planning and brainstorming various strategies (e.g. starting from the beginning of the maze or working backwards from the end of maze).
Included in this bundle are templates for your students to extend themselves by creating and sharing their own mazes with each other. This is one of my classes favorite things to do.
This Bundle contains 60 A4 sized mazes and their solutions
30 x normal rectangular mazes
15 x circular mazes
15 x hexagonal maze
Bonus square maze templates
